New Office. New Partner. New Business.

I have an announcement!

After 18 years of working on my own, it is time for a change. Some might even call it a professional glow up!

Beginning June 1, you will find me at a new office space (8280 YMCA Plaza Drive, Building 5, Baton Rouge, LA 70818). Plus, I'll also be operating under a new business name: Crossroads Professional Counseling. AND, I will have a business partner: Sue Miley, MBA, MA, LPC.

Some things are changing but a lot will stay the same.

  • I will keep seeing my clients and working the same schedule.

  • I will still be the funniest therapist in town.

  • I will continue to be invested in your health, family, and personal growth.

The changes coming are a mutual vision that Sue and I have to expand services for our local community:

  • We will be hiring more clinically excellent and relationally authentic therapists to Crossroads Counseling so we can serve even more individuals, couples, and families.

  • As the clinical director, I am committed to bringing together talent in many different service areas to support families as holistically as possible.

  • We also offer more mental health coaching beyond the structure of counseling.  We want to also assist you in your wellness goals for the future.

I anticipate rolling out these other new resources (and more) in the months ahead and I'll be sure to let you know when those are available.

It's no secret that I have flown solo for most of my career, but I really am excited to collaborate with other professionals and create even better services together.  In Sue and in Crossroads, I feel like it is an ideal partnership to begin this collaboration. She's been serving the greater Baton Rouge community for 20 years through counseling and business coaching. Sue's background and experience are a perfect compliment to mine, and together we are excited to expand further. On top of that, she has been incredibly welcoming. The fruit of this partnership is already evident.

I will soon be migrating this mailing list over to the Crossroads Professional Counseling email list. If you don't want to make the move with me and continue to get updates and blogs, now's your chance to unsubscribe.  But, take a peek at the combined resources on the site first...more is better in this case!

I look forward to seeing you at the new offices and introducing you to the expanded resources and team.

Even with these new endeavors, it’s such an honor when you refer your friends, family and colleagues to me for therapy. Taking great care of people is always my top priority!

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey!

-Allison

PS, if you see me looking particularly friendly with a major hunk at the new office, that’s because my husband is the marketing director for Crossroads. It may be premature to say this, but I’m feeling pretty hopeful that I’ll be
Chad’s new favorite coworker.
